Serving Asheville Dentists since 1856.
The Buncombe County Dental Society is a constituent of the North Carolina Dental Society, an association founded in 1856 whose primary objectives are “…to encourage the improvement of the oral health of the public, to promote the art of science of dentistry and encourage the maintenance of high standards of professional competence and practice, and to represent the interests of the members of the dental profession and the public which it serves.”
Our Mission
The mission of the Buncombe County Dental Society is to serve its members while assisting them in their service to the public.
The Buncombe County Dental Society provides educational, service and social opportunities for dentists in Buncombe County.
Meetings
BCDS Meetings are held six times per year, on the second Tuesday in the months of January, February, March, April, October, and November. Each meeting consists of an update on the operations of the Society, as well as an educational presentation for CE credits. In addition to the six meetings, the BCDS holds a Summer and Holiday Social, and a yearly seminar for dentists and their staff.
Members receive free informative updates on happenings in the dental community from our e-mailed correspondence and fax notices. Refer to the Events Page for more information on upcoming meetings!
